Something in store for you...

Happy Monday to all of you!
I hope you are having a good day.

This week for Joy's Life's Design Team, we were able to do a project of our choice.

I have a gift card holder for my niece that I made with several of Joy's stamp sets.

The top flap lifts open to reveal a gift card.

This stamp is from the new Tag You're It - Set One.

On the inside, I used stamps from Everyday Occasions and Holiday Occasions.  (Love how you can mix and match!)

If you don't have these versatile stamp sets yet, you can purchase them here

Now for the details... I turned to my trusty Silhouette for this project.  (I know, I need to give my Cricut some love in the near future!)

I found this free and super cute store with awning SVG here.  The card is a simple gate-fold card.  It measures 5.25"x4.25".  The red patterned paper is from Hobby Lobby's The Basic Paper Pack.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope this got some creative juices going for you.  Thanks for stopping by!  I read and appreciate every comment left!  :)

One Of A Kind Card

*** There's still time to get your comments in for the drawing on the Teacher's Gifts Blog Hop...here! ***

Hello, all you crafters out there!
I hope you are having a nice Tuesday.

This week Joy's Life's DT, are featuring "Love" projects.  This week's posts coincide with Joy's 19th wedding anniversary, so to start off, I'd like to wish her and her husband a Very Happy Anniversary!

This time around, I have a project that is completely stamped.  (I know, it's a new kind of post for me, but actually, I've been stamping before there were embossing guns.  Just fell out of it for awhile!)

These super sweet popsicles and the saying come from Joy's Sweet Popsicle Puns stamp set.

If you don't have this fun stamp set, you can pick it up here.  Joy also has the tubes that we featured last week and CD cases available NOW on her website.

The card is 4.25" x 5.25".  I embossed the teal mat and then added a bit of twine to spice things up.  Super easy!

Well, that's all for me today.

Thanks for taking time to leave comments.  I read them all and really appreciate the time you take to write them!

Teacher's Gift's Blog Hop starts today!

Welcome to The Crafty Kitten for Joy's Life's
Teacher's Gifts Blog Hop!

If you have hopped over from Jennie at Earthy Scrap then you are in the right place.  If you just happened to stumble upon this post and want to start at the beginning at Joy's Life, click HERE.

The Design Team has put together some great teacher's gifts made with Joy's rubber stamps.

Here's what I came up with...a pencil that holds Rolo candy pencils and a post-it note holder for your favorite teacher!

Here's how it goes together.  The pencil is from SVG Cuts and I cut it using my Cameo.

This saying is from Joy's Life's new Tag You're It - Set Two.

The post it note holder is super easy to make.  All you have to do is cut a piece of card stock to 3x7".  Score it at 3.25" and 3.75" for a perfect fit.  I used stamps from Joy's Everyday Occasions set.

I had first seen pencils made from Rolo candy at a scrapbook/stamp convention.  I thought it would be cute to put them in their own special box.  Here's a link to how you can make them.

Now how about some Blog Candy??
Joy has so graciously donated a Tag You're It -
Set One Stamp Set to giveaway for this blog hop!  That lucky winner is going to have a lot of fun playing with it!

*** You have two chances to be entered in this drawing: ***

Something Yummy Tube Treat Holder

Hello, everyone! Thanks for stopping by!

This week, Joy's Life's Design Team, are working with tubes, tubes, and more tubes!

I used my Cameo to make a cutesy tube holder that you could give to someone special.

The stamped saying comes from
Joy's Tag You're It - Set One stamp set.

You can buy it here and there's Free Shipping right now!

(Joy will also be carrying the tubes in the near future.)

Here's how I made this project:

I took the test tube SVG from Happy Life, Crafty Wife and shortened the box part by 1.5 inches.  I then filled both pieces with Echo Park's Blue Diamonds paper from their Splash digital paper kit so I could print and cut them out.  The skunk and flowers come from Lettering Delights new Peep Squeakers SVG set.  I then embellished the project with a tag from Sizzix and some Twinery Twine.

If you got this gift, what kind of candy
would you like in it? Just curious!

*** Don't forget to join us Saturday for a Teacher's Gifts Blog Hop!  There is going to be PLENTY of Blog Candy to go around! ***

Hope to see you there!!

Happy Bird-day! card

Hi, all you crafters out there! Hope your day is going well.

This week Joy's Life's DT is making projects all about the animals. This is such a fun subject.

I fired up my Cricut Imagine for this project and made an easel card.  (I loved using bold colors for this one.)

The super cute saying comes from Joy's Wild Life Puns stamp set.  If you don't already have this fun filled set, you can get it here!

I cut the frame from Elegant Edges at 5" and filled the background using the Imagine Hopscotch cartridge.  I then cut the bird on page 52 from Create A Critter at 3"  and the flower on page 47 at 3", also.  The striped paper is also from Hopscotch.

Feel free to leave a comment.  I enjoy reading them!

Have a great day!

Hey Chickie! Easter Treat Boxes

Hello, all you paper crafters!

This week for Joy's Life, we are creating Spring or Easter projects.  I used my Cameo to make  some treat boxes that hold jelly beans to give to my family on Sunday.

Here's a closeup of one of the boxes. The saying is from Joy's Life's Lots Of Pun stamp set.
If you don't already have this fun set of stamps, you can get them HERE.

I used my Cameo to fill the box file with a JPEG images from Nancy Kubo's Hunny Bunnies paper pack from Lettering Delights.  Then I cut the printed boxes out.

I designed the tag using Hunny Bunnies graphic files.  Here's a screen shot of with the several steps that I took to make the tags.

I love the Print and Cut feature.  You can make super looking projects in a short amount of time.  I just added some buttons and ribbon to spice the project up.

Later this month, I hope you can join us for a Teacher's Gifts Blog Hop!  There will be plenty of blog candy to go around!

Thanks for stopping by!!!  I appreciate the time you take to browse and leave comments!  :)
