This To That Challenge Winner!
I was so excited today to find out that I was the First Place challenge winner for Cher's Studios Challenge #2. Make a side step card. It was a random drawing and I am looking forward to spending my $15 gift certificate.
Cher is the owner of a new SVG site, the Digi Bistro. Digi Bistro is a new company and they have some really cute SVG's for all those cutting machines out there! If you get a chance, check out her site. Every once in awhile she had freebie files.

Pet Sitting Thank You Card
Hello, everyone!
I just received my Scrappy Mom's Raining Cats & Dogs stamp set in the mail. I wanted to make pet thank you cards that I could sell in my Etsy Shop and give our vet to help raise funds for their Needy Pet Fund. Since I have kitties, I immediately thought of this mischievous cat that is on the Meow cartridge. He reminds me of a couple of our spirit kitties, Goblin and Shadow. I decided to use happy colors such as yellow & orange. It also gave me an opportunity to use this ribbon that I have had in my stash over the years.
I'm going to enter it in Fantabulous Cricut's Challenge #75 - A Splash Of Color (Yellow)
Thanks for stopping by! I appreciate any comments you leave!

Hoppy Birthday!!
Hi, Everyone!
I FINALLY finished this frog card! For some strange reason, this one took awhile to complete. I changed the original orientation of the card and then decided to stamp the saying on the top of the circle above the froggies head.
I used my Imagine for the background paper and to color the frog. That feature I do love! The papers came from Enjoy The Seasons. (Which I finally scored on Ebay for a killer deal!) The flowers are cut with my SD. I really love how they turned out and will be using them in future projects! The stamped saying comes from Joy's Life Lots Of Pun set. And of course, Mr froggie comes from one of my favorite cartridges, Create A Critter. The inside of the card says "Hope your day is unfrogettible!"
Better late than never, I'm entering this in Fantabulous Cricut's Challenge Me Monday #74 Birthday Bash challenge!
Hope you are all having a great Sunday!

My New Toy & First Project
Well, after much research, I caved and bought a Silhouette SD. I know a larger version is coming out in October but my husband talked me into purchasing the smaller version now. I got it for 40% off so that sweetened the deal. (Looks like he will be able to cut his paper models that he designs on this.) He's super sweet telling me that I can get the Cameo if I want and he'd use the smaller version! Works for me! :)
The main reason why I wanted this was their Print & Cut feature. I love the idea that I can use graphics that I design or the awesome files out there from super talented artists to P&C. I have a Cricut Imagine and for now I will be keeping it since I have invested a large amount in it. As for my anniversary edition of the Expression, I will be selling that one since I don't use it often. I'm keeping my older E so that I can use the Sure Cuts A Lot software on it. (I'm not planning on updating it.)
Well without further ado....here's my first P&C project using the Lettering Delights Birthday Fishes file. I LOVE the way it came out! The waves were cut from my E so I haven't totally abandoned it!
As part of TGIF, I'm going to link this up to Craft Junkies TGIF linky party! Also, Creative Cutter is having a Splish Splash Waves of Summer Challenge and Cher's Studio This To That Tuesday Side Step Challenge.
Have a great weekend!! Hope you enjoy my card!!

DeNami Design Sketch Challenge #09
Well finally I had some time to participate in a challenge! There have been so many of them out there lately but with the summer, gardening, working on Ebay, and setting up my Etsy shop, I've been crazy busy!! It was nice to take some time out of one of these super hot days to work in my hobby room and play with some paper.
DeNami holds a sketch challenge and I thought this would be a great time to try to use some of my new stamps. For this challenge, I used a couple of my recently acquired DeNami stamps: Puppy Love Circle, and Friends Fur-ever. I wanted to focus on the puppy stamp so I mounted it on a rosette that I cut from a Lettering Delights SVG file. Hope you like it as much as I had fun in creating it!
Here's my entry!

Hello Kitty Birthday Blog Hop
I just stumbled on Cely's HK Birthday Blog Hop over at Hawaii Paper Party. It's her day and she loves HK so she put together a super cute hop! (Check out her cute tattoo!) I also LOVE HK and all things Sanrio. When I saw PC release those cartridges, I knew they were a must have!
Cely's giving away some great goodies. If you have time, check it out. I'm linking my card to her fun giveaway!!!
