Window Fold Halloween Card

Hello, all!

Boy it feels like forever since I last made a post! I know I need to get a start on my Halloween cards but it seems like all kinds of things come up that keep me from getting into my hobby room!

Yesterday, I finally felt a spark of creativity! The weather was gloomy & rainy...not great for yard work...so I finally went into my room and this is what I came up with!

The card can be folded so it fits in an envelope. Cartridges used for this project were Happy Hauntings, Simply Charmed, and Mini Monsters.

I'm going to enter this in Cardz TV's Challenge #91 - Things That Go Bump In The Night
and add it to Pink By Designs Facebook Page for Fan Flash Friday!

Thanks A Melon! Card

Hi, Everyone!

Hope you all are doing well and enjoying your summer! It's been really hot here so I decided that I would stay inside and play in my hobby room!

I've been wanting to make a card using this cute saying and finally got around to it! The watermelon on the Simply Charmed cartridge is soooo cute so I knew he would be the one I used. I didn't have the saying in a rubber stamp so I used a cut from the Just Because Cartridge. The frame is from Lacy Labels and I welded a circle on top of it to get the cutouts to look the way they do.

The card swivels open...a technique that I don't think I've ever used and I really like how it turned out. I finally used some of that great twine and the Polka Dot embossing folder. Let me know what you think!

I'm going to enter it in the following challenges:

Cricut 360 Challenge #2 - Round Thank You Card
My Creative Time Throwback Thursday #209 Wild Card or Just Because Cartridge with Embossing

Chickie Card

I wasn't too sure if I'd be able to create another Easter card this week but things came together this afternoon. Yay! I have a fondness for this Chick from Simply Charmed and I thought he/she went great with Joy's Life's Lots of Pun stamps. As far as my creative process goes, this didn't take too terribly long!

I'm going to enter it in FCCB's Challenge Me Monday #56 - Do The Bunny/Chick Hop. I'm also going to enter it into Cooking With Cricut's Cash In My Stash Challenge. You're supposed to use something that you've had for over a year. The flowers on this card are several years old and this was the first time I've ever used them! Horrible, huh? LOL!

Hope you enjoy it! I appreciate if you have a chance to leave a comment!

Paper Cutz Challenge #80 - Spring Cards

Hello, Everyone! Seems like it has been FOREVER since I have been able to participate in a challenge. Work has been crazy so I am glad to have found some time to CREATE!
The wonderful blog, Paper Cutz Challenge, is currently hosting a Spring project challenge! I decided to used this chickie cause I just LOVE him! I thought I would combine him with my FIRST attempt at paper quilled flowers! I'm happy with how the card came out.
My hubby & I are setting up a studio for photography and we are currently experimenting with lighting. The quality of my pics should get better as time goes on but he did manage to catch the detail in the flowers.
Thanks for looking! Please feel free to leave a comment and/or follow me, if you feel like it!

Santa and Penguin Tags

Hello! I made these tags for the Cricut Cardz Challenge #53. Object was to make gift cards or tags using any combination of colors. I just bought the We R Memory Keepers White Christmas paper pack and thought it would be the perfect background.

Both images are cut from the Simply Charmed Cartridge. The tag is cut at 5 3/4" from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More.

Thanks for looking! And as usual, comments are appreciated!!
