Another Cupcake Card!
I have to say, I do LOVE cupcakes! I love baking them, eating them, and making cards with them on it! I don't know why. I think they are just cute! I whipped up this accordion fold card using the Sweet Treats cartridge and DCWV Celebration stack.
For the fun of it, I'll be entering this card into the following challenges:

Patches Of Pink Link UP Party
Jalisa over at Patches Of Pink is having a link up party. She's looking for pictures of recent projects. Since I've been so busy working on our sprinkler system, I thought I'd participate in this and link up my Amigurumi penguin. It's also been REALLY hot here in Colorado so Mr. Penguin makes me feel cool just looking at him!
Hope you all are having a good day!

Cupcake Birthday Card
Birthday Sundaes is hosting a Wet Or Dry Embossed Birthday Card Challenge right now. I LOVE making these type of cards and I REALLY love cupcakes!!! So I thought I'd combine them for the best of both worlds.
The die cut is from Lettering Delight's Birthday Sparkles which contains a lot of my favorite images. I also used TPC Studios paper and I believe the saying is from Hero Arts.
Thanks for stopping by!
My Version of the Eiffel Tower
Yeah! I finally got to play with this file that I bought from SVG Cuts.com. They have weekly freebies and you can get the newest releases free with a minimum purchase. There's also projects and video tutorials on their site. If you haven't done so already. Check them out!
I didn't feel like working with black today. I had this pretty floral paper from K&Company so I figured I'd make a blue Eiffel Tower. I am using my Expression to cut this and was impressed with how well it cut the tower. The software I used is Sure Cuts A Lot 2.
Hope you like it! I appreciate if you take the time to comment!

Now for something entirely different...
Hello, everyone!
Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I haven't been able to work with paper crafting that much this past week. The yard & flower beds have been demanding my time lately. With all the heat we've had, I've been getting a jump start on mulching the beds.
Anyways, I thought I'd post a pic of my most recent Amigurumi project. It's crocheting in the round and another one of my hobbies. I was in a colorful mood at the time so instead of a black & white penguin, I jazzed him up a bit!
Hope you are all having a great Friday!

Project Featured in the Cricut Chirp!!!
I was soooo surprised to find that Provo Craft published a link to my Happy Birthday Card in the latest Cricut Chirp dated 05/31/2011, Vol 259!!!
I happened to notice that my blog was getting a lot of hits that day. I had received the latest Cricut Chirp in my email but hadn't read it, yet. When I finally got around to it, I opened up all of links in the email as I always do. I was stunned when I clicked on the Happy Birthday Card and it led to my Provo Craft Message Board post! It took me a few seconds to realize what was going on! It was very funny!
Here's a picture of the card I had posted. A link to the Chirp can be found here.
Hope everyone is having a great evening.

Ninja Birthday Card
Hello, everyone!!
I recently took advantage of a 40% off sale at Lettering Delights. One of the SVG sets I purchased was Ninja Kicks. I couldn't resist. I figured the cuts would be really cute on unconventional layouts and cards.
I have never used the shadow and weld features in Sure Cuts A Lot until now. I found it to be super easy. There are many videos out there if you need help doing it. The cake shadow is improvised...it wouldn't have fit on my 12x12 mat if I didn't do it this way.
I love the way the card came out. I think he's a super cute Ninja!!
I'm going to enter the project in the following challenges:

Birthday Easel Card
I had a lot of fun making this card. I thought I'd change it up a bit and do an Easel Card this time. The die is from Lettering Delights Birthday Sparkles. I added some embossing throughout the project and crystals to the cupcake liner. The cherry is cut out of glitter paper and the stamped saying is from Hero Arts Yummy Treats clear stamp set. I probably should have embossed the saying but instead I just used Stampin Up ink.
Let me know what you think. Comments are always appreciated.
I am entering this into Cooking With Cricut's Challenge #32 - Use any two of the following colors: orange, yellow, cream, brown, green or white
