Kitty Cat Swatch Tag Book

Hello!  Thanks for stopping by!  I've got another post for  As you can tell from earlier DT posts this week, we are all doing our version of a Swatch Book.

I remember when I was a little girl, my dad installed Formica counter tops.  He had samples of all the colors available and they were bound with a key chain. Looking back, I realized that those were Swatch Books!

Since I have a house full of kitties, I decided I'd make a cat themed one.

The stamp I used on the cover is from Joy's Halloween Puns Set!

Here's where I'll journal about my cat, Panzer.  The stamps and on the next two pages are from Joy's Lots Of Puns set.

This next page features a picture of Panzer with a stamp from Joy's new Pun In The Sun set. It's perfect for him because he is the sweetest cat EVER!
The next two pages feature stamps from Joy's Sweet Popsicle Puns set. The paw print and the heart come from Lots Of Pun.

This final page uses Joy's Sweet Popsicle Puns set again and sums up Panzer so well!

All the papers and embellishments come from 3 Bugs In A Rug Frisky paper collection.  The cards are cut 3x5 and I rounded the corners for a softer look.

This was a lot of fun and is inspiring me to make  journaling cards in the hopes of getting back into scrap booking.  Let me know what you think and if you'll try this someday!

I'm fairly new to your blog but am really enjoying it. Love this project! I just lost both of my 15+ year old kitties in the last 8 months and am thinking this would be a great memorial to them.

These are just too cute. I love this idea. It can be done without being overwhelmed with a full scrapbook page. Thanks for sharing. Love the kitties.

I love this tag book you made of your cat! It really inspired me to make one of my own about my new cat Frank. The colors of the paper are so bright and cheerful and I may even make more than one.
Thanks for posting your pics!

OMG, Patty. Your swatch book is adorable! Sometimes the smaller projects turn out the best. I too would like to get back to scrapbooking. I have 4 kitties and made an 8x8 scrapbook of them some years ago. They certainly make for a good subject! TFS your great photos.
