My First Cottage Cutz Card!

Hello, all you crafters out there!
I just wanted to share a card that I made using my first Cottage Cutz Die that I purchased at my LSS! I couldn't resist this Trick Or Treat Puppy. I came right home and starting die cutting him. I think he's so cute! For once, I am pretty happy with the card first go around. I used a combination of kraft, Doodlebug, DCWV, and Reminisce paper for this project. I also got to play with my Ranger Ink Applicator and I really am loving that tool! The inside of the card says "Have a Happy Howl-o-ween!

For the fun of it, I'm going to enter it into More Than Favors Wacky Wednesday #57 challenge - Anything goes!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope everyone is enjoying their day!

Hero Arts/Sizzix Christmas Card

Hello, Everyone!
This is probably the earliest that I have ever made a Christmas card! In my previous post, I had mentioned that I picked up a couple of new stamp/die sets from Hero Arts. I couldn't resist playing with the reindeer set!

The card is made using Echo Park's new paper from their Holly Jolly Christmas collection. I used a couple of the dies to cut the Christmas trees and reindeer. What a cinch! The reindeer sits on a scallop and circle cut with my nestabilites. Glitter was added to the embossed snowflakes for some dazzle. The stamps are very fun to use so I look forward to making more projects with these sets!

For the fun of it, I'm going to enter this card in Christmas Cards All Year Round October challenge - Use a punch or die cut and Fab's Big Christmas Card Challenge - Something Shiny.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hero Arts & Sizzix Pair Up

If you don't know already, I wanted to let you know that these really cool rubber stamp & die sets have just came out from Hero Arts! They paired up with Sizzix to make coordinating dies!

I just got word that my LSS got these in on Monday, ran out there today and grabbed the last reindeer set! I couldn't resist the snowman set, either! They are pretty popular and flying off the shelves!

I can't wait to play with these and I'm hoping this will kick start my Christmas card making! Maybe I'll have some cards that I can post pics of later!

Happy Crafting!

Happy Birthday, Jovan!

I was combing through all the wonderful blogs out there and stumbled upon Cards By Jovan. She's having her craft room reworked right now and it just so happens to be her birthday, also.

I was in the mood to make a card so here it is...Happy Birthday, Jovan! (The inside of it says "Bless your house with love and laughter...on your birthday and always, ever after!)

The paper is from My Little Shoebox. I used one of the Kyoto Cuties files from Lettering Delights for the SVG. Using Bazzill's website, I was able to find coordinating colors for the My Little Shoebox Oasis line. I then used my Bazzill Iphone app to get the RGB numbers for parts of her kimono and umbrella. I then used the Print & Cut option to cut her out.

Hope you enjoy it!
