Cupcake Birthday Card

Hello!
As I mentioned before, there are a lot of January birthdays in my family. I created this card with my sister, Barb, in mind.

I'm hoping to participate in more challenges this year just to help keep the creative juices flowing! Die Cutting Divas is currently running a sketch challenge. Here's what we are to work with.

And here's what I came up with! The papers I used are from the Echo Park Papers Life Is Good pack that I just picked up! I just LOVE the colors! The cupcake die cut is from Rock Princess! Who would have thought it? I also snuck in a few flowers cut with my Silhouette.

I'm also entering this into these additional challenges:

Hiding In My Craft Room Challenge #27 - Freestyle
Cooking With Cricut - Challenge #67 - Something New - Echo Park Papers
My Craft Spot Challenge #40 - It's Delicious
Birthday Sundaes Challenge #38 - Birthday Card with Something New Echo Park Papers

Thanks for stopping by! Your comments are appreciated!!

Easter Treats

Hello, Everyone!

I just received my M&M's/Skittles bags in time for me to do an Easter project with them! I pulled out my much neglected Sizzix Hello Kitty die and added some butterflies and flowers that I had cut on my Cricut. The grocery store had Springtime M&M's in great colors and I thought they would look really neat in the baggies. I put 25 of them in each sleeve. You can do 27 but I wanted a little more room at the top to adhere my die cuts.

I'm going to enter this in the following challenges:
Cooking With Cricut #26 Easter and
More Than Favors Wacky Wednesday #35 Easter Theme
Crazy About Cricut Thankful Thursday #4 Easter/Spring Treats
Crafty Junkie Too TGIF Linky Party

Hope you enjoy my project. But most of all, I hope you have a Wonderful Easter!!

Chickie Card

I wasn't too sure if I'd be able to create another Easter card this week but things came together this afternoon. Yay! I have a fondness for this Chick from Simply Charmed and I thought he/she went great with Joy's Life's Lots of Pun stamps. As far as my creative process goes, this didn't take too terribly long!

I'm going to enter it in FCCB's Challenge Me Monday #56 - Do The Bunny/Chick Hop. I'm also going to enter it into Cooking With Cricut's Cash In My Stash Challenge. You're supposed to use something that you've had for over a year. The flowers on this card are several years old and this was the first time I've ever used them! Horrible, huh? LOL!

Hope you enjoy it! I appreciate if you have a chance to leave a comment!

Throwback Thursday Challenge, Cooking With Cricut Challenge # 21, and Paper Cutz Challenge #83

There are 3 challenges out there that I am entering this card into.

First, Emma at My Creative Time is hosting a Throwback Thursday Challenge. Actually she's been doing this for some time but this is the first time I'll get to participate! The goal of her challenge is to use an older Cricut Cartridge and use green in the project.

The second challenge is Cooking With Cricut's Challenge #21. Their goal is to use 2 shades of green in your project.

The third challenge over at Paper Cutz Challenge # 83 is to make any project, with any theme, with any colors.

I whipped up this cutie elephant from Birthday Bash and used some dimensionals to give his ear a 3D look. The background paper is from DeNami design.

Hope you enjoy this quick & easy project! As usual, I appreciate the comments and would love if you chose to follow my blog!
