Quick Thank You Card

I needed to make a quick Thank You card and wanted to use the stamp set, Ewe Are The Best, from My Favorite Things. along with Lawn Fawn dies and paper.  I'm still learning how to use my Copic Markers and it's a lot of fun playing with them.

The wonderful thing about clear stamp sets is not only do you get a lot of images and sayings for a great price but you can bend sentiments if needed.   Now, I need to make sure that I put the card in an envelope and pop it in the mail!

Watermelon Thank You Cards

Hello, everyone!  I've got another JoysLife.com Design Team project.  This week we are featuring two of her super cute stamp sets : Yummy Puns and Popsicle Puns.

I can always use thank you notes and never have them around when I need them.  I created these simple cards that can be mass produced if need be.

I really like how they came out even though the design is simplistic. These are 3x3 inches finished. Can you believe that I have never made this size of card before?  I do love the small size!

I used Yummy Puns for this project.  Joy just got a bunch back in stock so you can get your own set here.

Now for the details on how I made these:
Cut a card base 3"x6" and fold it in half.  Round the corners and adhere a piece of 2"x3" background paper to the top of the card.   Cut your watermelons to fit the card. (I used my Cameo for this but any watermelon image will do.)  Score the green rind at every interval to add some texture.  Add some Glossy Accents to the seeds.  Tie a bit of twine around the card and through a button.

For the finishing touch, stamp Joy's "Thanks A Melon" saying on the bottom.

That's it!  You'll have a bunch of your own cards made in no time!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving comments.  I hope you have a great day!

Pet Sitting Thank You Card

Hello, everyone!

I just received my Scrappy Mom's Raining Cats & Dogs stamp set in the mail. I wanted to make pet thank you cards that I could sell in my Etsy Shop and give our vet to help raise funds for their Needy Pet Fund. Since I have kitties, I immediately thought of this mischievous cat that is on the Meow cartridge. He reminds me of a couple of our spirit kitties, Goblin and Shadow. I decided to use happy colors such as yellow & orange. It also gave me an opportunity to use this ribbon that I have had in my stash over the years.

I'm going to enter it in Fantabulous Cricut's Challenge #75 - A Splash Of Color (Yellow)

Thanks for stopping by! I appreciate any comments you leave!

Smiley Cards Thank You Card

I made this card for a neighbor who baked us some wonderful pumpkin, chocolate chip cookies as a thank you for returning her cat, Lunchbox's, collar. I should probably wait till the morning to photograph this card but I wanted to get it posted before I give it to her.
